Annika Torbjörner and Bo Fransson are specialists in prosthodontics and have also published a number of scientific papers. Both authors are dedicated clinicians and have accumulated a great amount of experience during more than 78 years of combined experience in the profession. Their skills have been in considerable demand for expert groups within Swedish dentistry and they have been frequently engaged to give well-attended courses. Many of these have been arranged by the Swedish Dental Association whose committee for continuing education awarded Annika Torbjörner the prize for best lecturer in 2013 with the citation "a prosthodontist who without pretention, conscious of quality, and with curiosity and pedagogical skill spreads knowledge of occlusal function which is based on clinical practice and science".
